Bachelor of Environmental Education (Wildlife Conservation Biology), Deakin University, Melbourne,
Australia. Diploma of Animal Technology, Box Hill Institute, Melbourne, Australia. Currently undertaking
my Masters in Wildlife Health & Conservation, Murdoch University, Perth, Australia.
I began teaching in Australia, on a voluntary basis, teaching English as a second language to refugees and
migrants. In Cambodia I' ve taught at the Pre K level and love working with the little ones who will
become Cambodia's, and beyond, future.

Teaching Approach

I'm keen to create a safe space for the children to grow and thrive. At the Pre K level, I really want to
encourage their imagination and help them to become more confident in themselves as they learn who they are, and how to share that individual with the wider world. At this age, learning should be fun and enjoyable as they learn not only academic basics but also the beginnings of life skills they will carry with them through life, such as how to treat and interact with their fellow peers.

I am an Australian who has been based in Phnom Penh for 3 years now. My passion is in wildlife conservation and protecting our earth for future generations to come. I grew up on a dairy farm in rural Australia and have spent at least half of my life in the country, where I grew up not afraid to get my hands dirty and instilling a great work ethic, to now living half my life in cities, where I have pursued education and employment. I' ve have done much volunteer work, in various locations around the globe, mostly in conservation and green initiatives, which has broadened my horizons and lead to opening my eyes to the world beyond.

Interests
Wildlife and animals, food, travel, reading, the great outdoors!

Character
I am an empathetic listener who will ensure the children in my care always feel they can come to me. I pride myself on my work ethic and hope to instill this in my students and teach them that learning can be fun and passion-driven, and will continue throughout their entire lives.
