Safety First

At our school, child safety is our top priority. We are committed to creating a secure and nurturing environment where every student feels protected and valued.

Our staff undergo regular training on safeguarding protocols, and we have clear procedures in place for reporting and addressing any concerns.

By fostering open communication and promoting a culture of respect and vigilance, we ensure that our school remains a safe space for all children to learn and grow.

Child Safety and Protection Policy

TIA International School is unwavering in its commitment to child protection and strives for the highest level of safeguarding for children. The school is resolute in implementing policies and procedures that will significantly fortify child protection within all its activities, both on and off campus. TIA maintains a zero-tolerance stance on child abuse.

We are steadfast in ensuring that all staff representatives undergo meticulous recruitment processes, receive necessary support, and are equipped with the training to effectively prevent and respond to suspicions and instances of child abuse. Whether paid or unpaid, full-time or part-time, temporary or long-term, all staff representatives with direct or indirect contact with children must adhere to a thorough and standardized recruitment process and agree to the Child Protection Policy.

Our commitment to shielding children from abuse will be upheld through the following measures:

Awareness: We will ensure that all students, staff representatives, and parents are fully cognizant of child abuse and the associated risks to children.

Prevention: We will ensure, through heightened awareness, guidelines, and best practices, that staff representatives and parents minimize the risks to children. Moreover, our child protection policies and education will address abuse and bullying from children to other children.

Reporting: We will ensure that staff representatives are unequivocally clear on the steps to take when concerns arise regarding the safety of children.

Responding: We will ensure that decisive action is taken to support and protect children when concerns arise regarding potential abuse. This process will be characterized by fairness and transparency.

Participation: We will ensure that children are actively engaged in creating a secure environment, and we will earnestly consider their views, wishes, and concerns in all matters regarding their safety and protection.

Proactive Engagement: We will rigorously vet the backgrounds of all staff, seeking references and, as far as possible, the history of the applicants, to verify that new staff have no history of abuse or neglect according to the above definitions.
